Good job with your division! I just repotted my Onc twinkle keiki in sphag moss. Mine more or less fell off when I bumped into it this morning (oops) with only one p-bulb. We'll see if they survive...

I'm sure no expert, but I think you've got a good chance with the part that broke off.

Be careful about watering from the top, my oncidium twinkle I rotted off two new growths when I first got it, because I was letting the top part of the media get too wet.

Does it have any roots? If so, I'd just dunk the pot in water, being careful to not let the water level get too high (I do it just until I see water starting to show in the gaps in the top of the media), and keep the water well away from the new growths.

That's just me though. Once I started doing that, I *touch wood* stopped having issues with the new growths rotting.

How cute are the twinkles?! I have two, my first time with them and one is in spike. I'm deliriously excited!

Yes, there are roots. The have grown after the division.
This one is the Twinkle 'Red Fantasy', with pink flowers.

How sweet. You have really nursed that little start along. And I find myself in the same position as you. I have a couple of my twinkles that just need to start over.

The key, at least under my conditions, is not to water but spray the medium instead so tht only the top layer of the medium gets wet.
The only time I water is when it gets hot and dry.

The medium I've used is small grade bark mixed with 30% sphagnum.

Anyway, the probability for this spike to bloom is low/medium so now it's a waiting game. I've been putting it under 70% HR at night and 30% by day.
