Default New aquisition Milt. Renee Komoda "Pacific Clouds"

Sometimes simple is best and to me this Milt. is just plain elegant. An unexpected find as the greenhouse I frequent doesn't often have many "different" things to choose from!

I detect a slight fragrance of roses. I think in the green house it was stronger, probably because of the heat and humidity.

This is one of Ivan Komoda's crosses, and is Milt. Edwidge Sabourin x M. santanaei. Milt. Edwidge Sabourin is a lovely thing in itself, a vexillaria based white with a great flower count- as many as 7 or 8. M. santanaei is white with a yellow mask and tends to carry around 3 flowers and add the distinctive fragrance.

This particular one is a good example of the cross.

Thanks so much Phantasm. This plant has three spikes, one with 7 blossoms/buds and two with 6 buds each. Should be in bloom for quite some time. I'm very pleased with it.
