Looks typical and normal to me. Nice flowers by the way. Like the colors.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Very nice flowers!

Unfortunately, with so many hybrids out there you may never get an ID. Your best bet would be to contact the place it came from. Even if it was frm a big box store, they could give you the name of their supplier who in turn might then be able to ID

I feel a lot better knowing the bulbs are typical with the rest of my Oncidiums being smooth bulbed I didn't know if this one should be the same!
I guess I will have to find out were it was grown I have fab friends who keep giving me plants however they never seem to have tags (I know oh poor me)

You're probably gonna want to run that cooler than you would a normal oncidium, and probably a bit wet. I'd wager that plant is at least half odontoglossum, if not more.

Thank you Orchidflowerchild I will move it to a cooler spot right away!
You say a wee bit wet can you be more specific right now it is potted in a med bark mix should I think of changing the growing medium to hold a 'wee' bit more water !!

Again thank you for your advice
