Default Miltonidium Issaku Nagata 'Hawaii'

Just bought this monster today at the local orchid show. Should be ridiculously nice once it blooms - the ones there that were blooming smelled like really sweet perfume. It's like a little christmas tree! Water bottle next to it for comparison. Can see full size if you click on picture once in gallery. Looks like they didn't give it enough light - leaves are kind of dark.

Fantastic! I didn't know there were different varieties. Here's my 'Volcano Queen' (Same hybrid)

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

This one is almost fully opened now... I love how it looks like a bunch of little dancers with skirts on all lined up. Quite a show, and very profuse sweet perfume smell.

What a sight - that's very impressive! Your description of a Christmas tree was right on...now that it's blooming, it looks like you plugged it in Thank you for sharing this beauty!
