Default My first oncidium - New growth? In Christmas?
Hello, my friends

Today I noticed something in my oncidium (don’t know what oncidium it is, only that is yellow). It seems a new growth.
I thought it would happen only in spring, but as this is my first one, I’m not familiar with this genre.

Is this supposed to be happening at this time of the year?

Yes, it's a new PB. Most oncidiums seem to be opportunity growers and don't know much about seasons (imo).

Hybrids especially can be prone to growth at any time. Not unusual.
