I love the clarity and intensity of this bloom but it does have a short spike, maybe it will produce more blooms the next time around.

Hope you like.

That is beautiful. I have a few Oncid hybrids but I don't have a yellow one. The GVOS show is this weekend in Grand Rapids MI and I may look for one there.

Very nice, and nice photos too. I put mine outside for the summer and it made huge fat spikes but because I had to bring them in for the winter, the spikes ended up producing fewer blooms than normal, resulting in a really weird looking plant with a really tall long spike with only a few blooms. So I actually would prefer a shorter spike!

No luck finding a nice yellow oncid at the GVOS. I did get a Bllra 'Smile Eri' in bid and several vandas. I'll post pictures later.

Congrats on your find Grandma, I'm thinking that this isn't a 'hard to find type', someone probably has it for sale.

Thankyou everyone, I'm happy that you all enjoyed the picture.

I have always loved this one. Only negative is that the plant and spike just get way to darned big for me to be able to have one.
*sigh*
