i waited a year for this to bloom and WOW it was worth it. Photo shows only one bloom spike in bloom. There are three other spikes covered with buds all from 2 pseudo bulbs.

That is very beautiful! But isn't Wilsonara with the Oncidium Alliance?

Might be, I'm new at this and if the tag doesn't list the proper Alliance I'm at a lost. I'll try to shift it.

I know this is an old thread, but I see that you are in Texas, and I was wondering about the heat tolerance on this one, which I just bought from Akatsuka (I like 'Penny Candy' better than the more available 'Pinkie'). I live in DFW, and it sure gets hot here in the summer. Some of my Oncidium intergenerics go outside in the spring and the fall, but then remain inside during the hottest part of the summer. Will this plant need that treatment, or can I just leave it outside all summer? I notice it is actually considered an Oncostele now, however it has very little Rhynchostele in it (and I find Rhynchostele tends to impart some heat tolerance), but has quite a bit of Odontoglossum, so that worries me a little. So my question to you (or anybody else who has this plant) is, what kind of temperatures do you give yours, and how does it respond to heat?
