Default Howeara Lav Burst 'Pacific Sunrise'

A gift from a good friend a while back, first time I've bloomed it. Cultivated in oncidium like conditions. Any info anyone can contribute on this orchid is appreciated.

I have Howeara Lava Burst 'Puanini', and it flowers freely several times a year. I do as you do and treat it like any other onc. I have found them to be very forgiving. Yours is very nice!

That's not Howeara Lava Burst 'Puanini'...
That is Oncidium Twinkle 'Red Fantasy'
It's a quick grower. Intermediate temps and water just before drying out. They need to go down to 55Fnight in winter to bloom. I grow mine close to cattleya level light, but if you increase its lighting do it slowly. The fragrance is much similar to Onc Sharry Baby. I grow both Onc Twinkle 'Red Fantasy' & Twinkle 'Fragrant Fantasy' witch is a white flower

No, it is Howeara Lav Burst 'Pacific Sunrise', I swear it says so on the tag, and tags are always right, right?
In any event, the blooms have improved with time and it now is emitting a cottoncandy like smell.

Devil's advocate
Normally, I do trust the tags, but it seems this time the tag was not right.. I do not know any of both plants, but they look very different to each other, and I would say yours is not Howeara lava Burst

Another clue is that in my experience, Howeara Lava Burst is not fragrant. But your flowers are lovely!

Thank you so much! I'm going to update the tag with this information; perhaps I'll have to make two or three tags . At the end of the day it looks good, smells good, and I still love orchids.

I definitely think It is Onc. Twinkle variety but which cross is not truly known... Could be seed grown(Onc. Twinkle Red) or a clone Twinkle 'Red Fantasy' or Twinkle 'Charm Wine Red' Or Twinkle 'Pink'. It could possibly be Onc Rosy Sunset...
