Default Lockhartia serra

Even though it is not difficult to root a division, this is a slow growing species from Ecuador and Peru (not as vigorous as oerstedii). Prefers intermediate to warm temps, semi-shade and constant humidity.

Very interesting flower! I've never tried this group of plants. Does it stay pretty small? Are you growing it mounted?

This one stays small and I grow it in a small pot. In more humid conditions you may grow it mounted.

I grow Gold Speck(acuta x oerstedii) potted with med. bark, under lights and freq. waterings. A very unusual species and rewarding!
