Default Onc. Tsiku Marguerite

Just took this pic of my Onc. Tsiku Marguerite. This is the first time it has bloomed under my care! It did have a second spike, but my sister's *$%!@#& cat broke it. It has a nice delicate vanilla fragrance.

Well done! Let's say we count the one the cat broke 'cause it wasn't your fault. OK?

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Beautiful, Sara. Been there, gone through that with the cat thing. It always seem to work out in the end, though.

Tsiku Marguerite= Twinkle × ornithorhynchum

Tsiku Marguerite, Twinkle and ornithorhynchum all have similar lovely flowers and pleasing fragrance.

Hi Sara! Yes, it is quite lovely! You should see mine, it would make you laugh. It hasn't done anything since I got it....perhaps looks more pale yellowy than green. I should have been more careful with my purchase, mine had doom and gloom written all over it. Although, it's alive and is trying to snap out of it. (had mealybugs when I got it home). Tough little buggar, though.
Now I have something to go by after seeing yours. Something to look forward to if it makes it. Thanks for sharing! kiki-do

Hi Sara,
What pretty blooms. Looks like it was worth the wait. Does it have a fragrance?
