Default Brassia Arania Verde

This was one of my earlier orchid purchases, but it's just sat there growing but not flowering for years (at least it didn't die like many of my early purchases in this alliance).

Finally this year I was so excited to see a spike and now the blooms.

This was one of my early experiments with S/H and I still grow it that way. It lives in a coolish room in the house over the winter and in the greenhouse for the summer.

Took these photos earlier in the month before all the flowers were open (only just realised I never posted about them) and they are all open now.

Thanks Sonya,

Forgot to say it's also fragrant, keep catching a pleasing but 'green' scent in the greenhouse.

Beautiful!!

I don't grow this group of orchids anymore but I still love those spidery flowers.

Excellent photography too.

Another that is in bloom again, just a quick shot in-situ though. It's still opening it's flowers and I didn't want to disturb the spider (top right of the shot) which has built a lovely web between it and another plant.
