Default Miltonia Mounted?

Hi,
I have just joined the orchidboard - looks like there is a lot of good info here!
I bought a Miltonia Woodlands 'Ebony' (SwinburnxArmanda), medium seedling size, eight months ago. I mounted it on a piece of cork bark along with a Brassia Brachiata. It seems to doing ok (see attached pick - it is the left orchid), but have read is does not like to dry out between waterings. I have been letting it dry right out between waterings and it is in a humidity of 50-70% (but usually it is closer to 50) and the temp can vary from 11°C (at night in winter) to 30°C (on summer days). Should I put this orchid in a pot or is it ok leave it on the bark, and current growing conditions?

Thanks,

JK

JK, I think I remember this question coming up before. We have an exellent miltonia grower in our society and he stresses that they must not dry out. His are predominantly Miltoniopsis rather than the Brazillian type. Actually your's looks pretty healthy but I feel it would probably do better in a pot with a fine mix or sphag. Good luck!
