Wildcat blooms!...possibly 'Petite Sirah' Male
Talking Wildcat blooms!...possibly 'Petite Sirah'

I've had this orchid for many years but it has suffered from much neglect (along with the rest of my orchids). When first purchased, it had huge psuedobulbs but was in sphagnum and rotted down to a single pb. After many seasons of neglect, I have been trying to get my orchids back shape and am happy that this one decided to bloom even if its 6 blooms is a far cry from its former glory. The psuedobulb is small but I have only recently (4 months or so) started the rehab treatment for my orchids.

Not the best shot and I'll try to update this with more...I just don't take pictures very often :P

The shots of 'Petite Sirah' I've seen show a yellow fringe on the lip and mine has come out more white, but shape/markings really make me think it's still a possibility just a difference in environment.

I love the dark color! I will have to watch for this one-I am a sucker for the wildcats because they are so hardy and reliable.

And the blooms last for ever. I've got one (I don't even know the name) that I forgot when I bought it, but it's still in Bloom and the bloms are as fresh as the first day I took her home (I guess mid-January).
