Since this new name change mania began, the best way to know what you've got is to check the parentage, and hope that makes some sense. Post a pic if you can. Maybe someone here will recognise some characteriseics. Good luck.

Hi,
In your other thread I wrote that it seemed to be the Maclellanara 'Pagan Lovesong', which is oncidium x brassia. I would grow it like other oncidium alliance plants. I have a Beallara and a Burrageara that I grow like that and they are doing well. Mine are in medium to high light (under lights) on a humidity tray, and get watered every 5-7 days with fertilizer but without letting the medium completely dry out.

Here's a nice webpage that gives the parentage of different hybrid crosses. Gives you an idea of what hybrids are made of!!

Forgot something... Here's where I get the care sheets for my orchids. Oncidium care is there. I use it as a guideline, and try to adapt it to my conditions. I have to use lights this winter since I'm in the Netherlands. There's only one sunny day per week!

Maclellanara (=Brassia x Odontoglossum x Oncidium)

The culture of such hybrids is dependent upon the parentage. Mcllna Pagan Love Song is 1/2 Brassia verrucosa and Odcm Tiger Butter is the other parent (1/2 Onc. tigrinum). This one is an intermediate grower and pretty tolerant. If a cross has more odontoglossum as a parent then they will need cooler temperatures.

Maybe you can offer a suggestion on my unknown orchid? The pic is a little further up
