Thanks Al. Just trying to compare yours to mine. Mine looks similar in size I think. You might have 1 or 2 more large pseudobulbs, but I will have to look at it tomorrow and see. No sign of a spike yet on mine

Great job on getting yours to bloom!

My Ross. grande is a much smaller plant, pseudobulbs and all. Is yours? The bulbs are half the size of the Rawdon Jester and darker green.

Yes silken my Rossioglossum grande is probably half the size of the Rawdon Jester. I need to do something to stimulate growth first before I even think in terms of blooms. In spring and fall I may put it out on one of our decks here for cool temps. This may help. Winter is to cold here though. AL

I just looked at mine. It has 6 PB's in total. The latest two are large, plump and have leaves. The next is same size with no leaves. Then there are 2 older leafless ones a bit smaller but plump and the very oldest is plump but half the size of the large ones. I really think this is old enough to bloom now. If I can find a space (good luck) on my warmer shelf I will move it there and see if that pushes it. Since it has a cool growing parent, it supposedly can take cooler temps too. But no blooms means something isn't quite right!
