The key to this is to keep it humid. I had it in moss out in the open, and it just didn't like it at all. It wasn't happy till it was in the vivarium. Mine is about to flower, it currently has flower buds, about 4 of them. I didn't know they were fragrant!! Thanks for the info.

That's great, Tin. I often thought of you and your Cisch. I really like those little blooms a lot, and was surprised to see how long they lasted-if memory serves, at least 4 weeks. Hope it's fragrant for you.

Carol

Thanks Carol. It must have been all those happy thoughts from you that made the difference
I have no idea how long they last, nor did I realize they were fragrant. I'll check it out tomorrow. Thanks for the tip!

Tindo, that plant looks pretty wet. Do you keep it that way? Mine is suffering and when the buds come, they sit there and won't open. Andy said he thought it was the dry air. I'm planning on putting mine in the new terrarium this weekend.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Awesome. Very nice colour combination in the flower, thanks for introducing it to me.

Ross, yea, it stays pretty wet most of the time. In the terrarium it about 3 inches away from the automatic misting nozzle. So it get drenched a few times a day, and the humidity in the tank is high. The plant is also only 4 inches away from the light source so it stays bright all day. When I had it outside the terrarium it started to die. I almost lost the whole plant. This one really really really like humidity.

Thanks, Tindo. Based on your recomends, I have moved mine to the new terrarium and at about 500 FCs and lots of mist. Let's hope this helps.
