Shooting Star from Orchid Show

I recently bought the exact orchid you are talking about (shooting star). Although the orchid was tagged as a (gilded urchin, "ontario", brsdm). I'm fairly new with growing orchids, and I'm not exactly sure how to care for them, especially this one. The man I bought it from said to keep it inside, and not to let it get too much light. But everything I have read says that it needs lots of light.

I'm confused. I have never had luck with inside orchids.

Help!
