Default Oncidium silvanum

This is a relatively small plant of fusiform bulbs native of the State of Bahia, Brazil described in 1991 by Campacci and Castro. It closely remembers a Baptistonia and an attempt of reclassification in 2004 by Castro e Chiron seems to have not been accepted. This is perhaps of minor importance, because the Oncidinae complex is about to be completely restructured with several transfers and new names.

I know of only one nursery here offering seedlings of this species, Sun rm.N.E.
