Default How to rebloom?

Good Morning, I got a yellow onch last year in bloom and wondered if you could share any tips to encourage rebloom. I have gotten growth, a new pseudopod, but nothing looks like blooming to me. Thanks for any tips.

VERY nice plant! I let all of mine get a few weeks of cool fall temps outside. Just like thanksgiving cactus, Xmas cactus, Cyms.

Make sure to feed regularly too. They like bright, indirect Sun.

Tommyr, I see you are in NY, I'm in PA, should I put him outside until Turkey Day? It's 38 here at night - too cold? Again, any info much appreciated. Thanks again-Mel

I will beg off this question as I am NOT so sure. I don't want to harm your plant! I'll let more experienced folks answer this.

I don't think temperature differences are that important for Oncs, and the natural variation in the home during the fall will probably be enough. And also not a good idea to leave it outside until Thanksiving. Mine stays outside only during the summer. What they really need is bright light, or else they don't bloom. Also, some Oncs will bloom when the bulb is still immature, others when the bulb is fully formed. It really depends on the plant.

First, thank for the suggestions. New strategy- what do you think? I will sit my onc in the bay window beside my jade plants, since before I had him on a table behind my jade plants that fill the bay window which gave alot of protection from the direct sun. It will also get chilly at night. So increased direct sunlight and cooler at night. Thanks again
