Default Vuyl. Saint Sand 'Pacific Pride'

Well, I guess it's Vuylstekeara season around here. This must be a newer variety that seems to be quite variable in reguards to colour and pattern(something to do with temperature I think). Does anyone else have experiance with growing this one?

Sorry I couldn't get a picture of the whole plant, but the flowers are quite small, about 2" across. Perhaps they will be larger and more numereous when the plant is mature.

Thanks for looking.

I've never heard of it! But it is really pretty.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

I haven't heard of this particular one, but it is a beauty! I love the variation in color on the bloom! Great growing!

Many of these complex crosses can be quite variable from flowering to flowering. I have a couple that do that. Temp. can have an effect too. Summer blooms often look quite different from winter. My Beallara Peggy Ruth Carpenter has lovely flowers in summer but the winter ones are a bit muddy in my opinion.
