Default For Tony....Brassia neglecta

I'm posting this for you Tony! This was a new Brassia species for me...I never heard of B. neglecta...how could something so lovely be neglected!

I took this pic at the Montreal Botanical Gardens last October.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

I like the color patterns on this one - and the flower spike isn't miles long so it is a good windowsill candidate!

Actually, I am wondering can I neglect it and go on long trips and not water it? Hmmmmm.

WOW! Very cool Brassia. Looks like a row of dancing ladies. Hehe.

That is a beauty. I've never seen one for sale, I don't know why so many of the Brassia species are ignored...
