Unusual growth on Brs Rex
I thought I would share this since I've never seen it happen before on a Brassia, there is a keiki growing from the top of a back bulb! It also has five new growths coming from other back bulbs, and two from the most recent growths. I'm not sure what I did to make it grow like this, but hopefully it will lead to a big show next spring.
Here is the last blooming from October:

Mine is looking really yellow and wimpy So far I've tried all the tricks I normally have, but nothing. There is a small rootlet starting, so maybe something soon?

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Tony,
It's somewhat uncommon for that to happen... usually that happens to other Oncidiinae, like Aspasia.
Great blooming, btw!

I saw that happening on a Cishwenfia sp. I got a few months ago. Im glad to know it is a keiki. Very cool growing by the way.
