Vuylstekeara Chuck Perry 'Pacific Twilight'
Been a while since I've been on this site...too many other interests I guess. However, I had to share this newbie orchid...a first time bloomer after purchasing it a little over a year ago. The flowers are flat, large and have a wonderful fragrance. Not surprising it has an HCC/ AOS.

Georgeous Vuyl. Todd. Do you find these plants tempermental? They seem to be worth the effort to keep them happy.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

They seem to like my conditions, so no, I don't find them finicky, but then I don't have the high summer heat like most parts of the US.

Fantastic plant Todd, what's the fragrance like? I have a vuyl Cambria Plush which is a nice and reliable grower/bloomer in NW Ontario.
