Another purchase at T. Joe's today...the picture doesn't do it justice...just imagine the deepest red/purple garnet = that's it! It's like velvet!

Definitely a picture I'm going to take tomorrow when it's sunny - today has been way too gloomy for any photog's without a flash Fingers crossed for more tomorrow!

Not very, really. These are approximately 2 inches top to bottom, but it's kind of hard to get because of the curl in the petals.
