Default Brassia Rex spiking again!

My Rex just finished blooming last week, and now it's spiking again! I've never seen a spike come off an old growth like this, I guess I must be doing something right. Maybe it's the cool nights we've been having over the last few weeks...

My Bllra is doing just this. I realize you are death on inters, but just thought I'd throw my hat in the ring!

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

I'm not really death on inters, it's not like they're Dendrobiums. They just aren't my thing, I prefer the shape of a pure Brassia. Congrats on your spike though, good growing.

Such as a cross, I believe you were planning? Let's see now what was that going to be called? Can't find that post, darn it!

I pollinated my Datacosa with my Edvah Loo, which has been registered as Brs. Edosa. I've never seen one, but I'm hoping to get Edvah Loo's size and long, twisty sepals with Datacosa's spotting. If the cross takes, I'll post results in 5 years or so.

Will that be a "pure Brassia" though? Guess it would.

Sure is, it will be 25% Brs verrucosa, 25% Brs caudata, 25% Brs arcuigera, and 25% Brs gireoudeana.
