Default Brassia Datacosa 'Coos Bay' AM/AOS Spiking

I don't think it will be too long before this one blooms, I can almost see the spike growing if I watch it.

Tony, your large Brassia collection make me want to start one. You got some nice plants! Can't wait to see some pics of this one in bloom!

Thanks. You should try one, they're pretty easy to grow as long as you can get them some good light. I want to start working on Paphs next, maybe I'll find something good at the Orchid Society meeting tonight.

It's growing like a weed, an inch and a half in one day.

Here is an update, it's been 11 days since I first found the spike.

Edit: I can se the first few buds starting to pop out, looks like it will be 12 or 13 flowers when it blooms.

Thanks. This one is special to me, Brs Datacosa 'Coos Bay' was my first orchid, which I promptly watered to death. 12 years later I have another and I'm finally going to see it bloom.
