They don't even lose their leaves unless you screw up really big time!

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Brs verrucosa is the most fragrant one I've had. It would fill the whole house with it's fragrance. Brs Datacosa is supposed to be pretty fragrant too, but I'm not smelling anything yet. I'll give it a few days to mature and let you know what happens. Edvah loo has a great smell, but it isn't as strong as some of the others. My Rex is very lightly fragrant, but some clones are supposed to be pretty strong.

I REALLY am hoping for one that smells fragrant! I tried Haeralla and it smelled like wet stick I have best luck with Encyclia tampensis which smells up (nicely) our whole house! I'd love to add some other fragrant spp to my kit.

Brassia verrucosa will do the trick. There are several forms, mine was the green and white one. I'm not sure how strong the others are, but mine was a knockout.

Looked like this(not my pic):

That'll do the trick! I'll be watching for 3 Brs now - Rex, Edval Loo and verrucosa. Thanks Tony.

You can add Datacosa to the strongly fragrant list. I just came home from work, and WOW, the house smells like Brassia!

Nice to know! If I'm going to add to my collection in that direction, I'd like fragrant!

BTW, does the pendulous habit of the blooms suggest they might be happier on mounts? Just wonderin'
