Would it also help to put a topping of sphagnum moss on top of the bark mix to retain moisture and/or some humidity? Would this help all my oncidiums? Thank you!

A sphagnum moss topping might help, yes. You need to make sure it doesn't build up mineral deposits over time from evaporating wster. Be sure when repotting to set the plants at the proper level in the medium, with all the roots in the medium.

I had interest in this thread because I just recieved a small Oncidium Gold Dust, which it says is a sister orchid to the Twinkle. It’s in a very small pot.

Actually, Onc. Twinkle is one parent of Onc Gold Dust. Onc Twinkle = Onc. cheirophorum x Onc. sotoanum . Onc Gold Dust = Onc. Twinkle x Onc cheirophorum - so has another "dose" of the charming little species Onc. chirophorum. Lots of flowers on a small plant.

Without more information, I would say, don't repot it yet. Tiny to small Oncs. are really set back if repotted at the wrong time or if the medium is removed too compulsively.

Do you know where I might be able to see the blooms for my plant?
Thanks

Check out orchidroots.com

Search for Oncidium Gold Dust, you will find a photo of the hybrid, and also photos of the parents.

Thanks Dusty, that was a great picture too.
Since I left last I tried to get back onboard, a few times with my phone with no luck, so I guess when I leave my loft I’ll just have to wait until returning , cause I’m not having any luck getting back on the board except on my mini-iPad . It just won’t let me log on. I don’t carry my pad with me everywhere even if it is pretty small.
I’m kind of wired right now, I went to a site I was unfamiliar with and ordered 5 new mini- orchids. And they all looked WoW in their pictures. I’ve got so much I’m doing right now I almost feel like I’m in my twenties again. Just hope and pray, it doesn’t slow down my being a good watchman. I’ve got a feeling that would be impossible.
