Anyone like to hazard a guess on what this Oncidium intergeneric is. I bought it labelled but it was noided a while back when one of those little lightweight greenhouses blew over dumping every plant in a heap. As soon as you mention it I will know for certain if it’s right or not as I still have a record of what I bought - just can’t seem to align the plants to the spare labels and Google is not helping.

I don't have the bookmark on my phone, but there's an Australian nursery with hundreds of intergeneric Oncidium hybrids on their Web site, with good photos. Often that's the only place I can find photos of a name.

You’re probably thinking of Red Fox Orchids. That’s actually where it came from I think, but the image is no longer on the website. Ditto Woolf Orchids and Mount Benak Orchids. If there are any other nurseries here with a good list of Oncids then I’d like to know about them.

Thanks anyway.

Can't tell you an exact identity but I'd you are looking for care tips I'd check our Oncostele wildcat. It's pretty similar and probably has the same culture.

Could it be one of the 'Tan Treasures'. I think there were at least a couple of them

Yes, I think it is. I did buy an Wilsonara Tan Treasures in the same order and it did disappear in the big wind-blown mash up so I guess this is it.

I didn’t pursue Tan Treasures because I thought it would be light brown in colour - but a quick Google shows they are mostly dark purple spots with lavender tinge. All other markings are exactly the same - good thing about mericlones.

Thanks Diane.

No worries.
Its too dark to be 'Puppy pleasures' so it could be 'Lavender Picotee' I've seen photos of this one with colours ranging from orange to burgandy with varying amounts of white/cream.
