All of it...very cool! I've been growing konjac for 3 or 4 year...someone gave me a baby corm in trade for a ctsm. It's grown really well over the years and I'm about to up pot the clump to an 18" pot. No flowers yet...I am hoping for them this next spring.

my bulbifer snapped in some wind, and my konjac is going dormant. the sauromatum just finished. bad news, one of my arisaemas started dry rotting, and i'm trying to fix it...

Just noticed today that the second seed has a sprout (not just roots)
The first plant has grown 0.5 cm in 1 day and night, very fast compared to the growth speed before!
As a "bonus", here's a pic of a Pistia flower

finally someone who realizes water lettuce is in the araceae family!!

Haha, I was a bit shocked when I found that out. I've always thought they where some kind of aquatic fern or in the Asparagales. |

I was rather surprised too. I love how the leaves are so soft though. I was going to get some this year to accent the water lilies but I kept putting it off and now it's too late  ... |

Did you know that the leaves stay dry even when you dunk it in water? It's a really nice effect, and sometimes water droplets stay on the leaves. Anyway, I think it would be better if we had this "Casual Conversation" elsewhere, not on this thread. DMs? |
