Default Macleania insignis flowers

Hi all,

This is a small showing, but I am proud. I fell in love with this plant 10 years ago after seeing it in bloom at the New York Botanical Gardens. I started keeping it 7 years ago and not it finally decided to throw me a bone. A couple of blooms on one of the branches.

This is known as a tropical blueberry plant. I hope it fruits.

By the look, it must be a plant with the size of a bush.
Beautiful color.

Thats my dream. I want to one day buy some property in the Smokey Mountains, and grow all sorts of tropical blueberries, and Pleurothallids outdoors. Maybe the hummingbirds would come to them.
