Ping!
Two of my three Pings: Pinguicula esseriana and lusitanica
In the left lower corner (hard to see) is a mound built by something. It gets leveled every watering and gets rebuilt. Esseriana is keiki'ing in a ball again.

Aren't carnivorous plants fun? I'm more of a Nepenthes person myself.
Still, nice, healthy looking plants.

Butterworts! I know them by this name. I've seen them in Maine. Of course, being a dumb Southerner you can't expect me to know the more correct, genus name! These are really fascinating plants!

What cute plants you have there! 
I love pings. I think their flowers are so pretty. I just have the one, a tropical noID. I keep three pots of it and give away divisions. Here is a recent picture.....

Wow! Where do you get all those bugs?!!!! My poor pings are starving. I'm contemplating getting dried bloodworms to feed them.

That one is so pretty! It is always tempting to get more of these but I have no idea where I would put them. I really think they are all adorable, though.
How do I get the cute spots on mine? I have many other plants and, invariably, I will get fungus gnat issues. That is why I bought the ping. Just a couple of weeks ago, I had an explosion. The trick in this case is to turn on a small lamp at night and put the pings right in the center of the light. The gnats are attracted towards the light and then to the ping. Within a few days, no more gnats.

Here's my ping - I've counted probably 20 plantlets in that 2in pot. Its a propagation machine and I can't seem to stop it. Over the years I 've got about 60 plants from the mother plant. Enough now ! In fact I have about 10 now - excluding this "one"
Its this one that's special. Its been in bloom for about 9 months, continuously. Anyone know the species ? I got it at a show, as a "ping"
