He's such a handsome fellow. How can she resist?

We're a bit overrun with turkeys here. They chase mail carriers and dogs in some neighborhoods. Over the winter large flocks have no fear of people or cars. They regularly blocked traffic by the park in my neighborhood, and intimidated people at a busy bus transfer point across town. You can walk among a huge flock in the university arboretum and if they take off running it is a bit reminiscent of the dinosaur stampede scene from the original Jurassic Park movie. This is all well within an urban area of over 400,000.
