Default Playing with the camera

Since none of my Orchids are blooming yet… I thought I would show you some of my Bougainvillea that are…I ran outside and took a few pics just right when it was getting dark. This was my first attempt at playing with the MGI Photo Suite software I want to be ready when those Orchids bloom out…LOL...

Default HELP...!

I’m really not happy with the size the pictures came out; here is the original picture at 640 x 480 resolution 76.5 KB jpeg, before the MGI Photo Suite. After playing with the photo software the image became 335 KB but still 640x480. The OB would not let me attach it so I had to resize it to 400 x 300 91 KB…I’m no professional here can someone tell me what I did wrong? I did try different size resolutions using the resizer but no matter what the OB wouldn’t let me attach photos bigger then 400 x 300 that I had changed using the photo software….I hope I’m not coming across to confusing…

Snow...

I need snow...I really miss seeing the seasons change autumn is my favorite. Its funny when I first moved here I never gave to much thought to the seasons…Florida to me is like a place where time just seems to go on forever…it’s always summer or spring here. I miss that cool crisp feel in the air. I still have all my winter jackets hanging in the closet. My body might be physically here in the South but my Heart will always be in the North...

Well, Jo Ann, I am not a photo expert, but I do like the colors that the pixs show. I think that they look great, but again I know nothing about how to do computer "stuff". Talk about snow, we have had snow since Saturday. It snowed Sat. & Sun. with about 4-6" with more in the mtns. After it snows, the sky is so pretty & clear & the snow just glistens. Great pixs. Thanks.

Jo Ann, Nice shots I like the frame look, I have 2 Bougainvilleas they are planted together and show a mixed display. I cut some and put in a vase every now and then. Heres what mine looks like.

I just love Bougainvillea...their colors are so intense. I have 5 varieties…one I just had to have out of Logees, Variegated, ‘Delta Dawn.’ They just grow like weeds down here......

Yes and the more you cut the more they grow. The only problem is when I trim mine give about a pint of blood. And cuss a lot!

So gorgeous!!

I absolutely love these plants, and they do grow like weeds. I find these very east to grow outdoors. Indoors however abit tricky, I've killed 2, a coral and a red one

I think I will try again next year. Very lovely plants for sure.
