Default Bromeliad noid surprise

A friend from work found a couple of these little mower-chewed Bromeliads on the side of the road amongst some landscape clippings, etc, and gave me a piece a couple of months ago. I left last Tuesday to visit my family in Alabama and came back on Saturday to this surprise, it's blooming! It's a very glowy red-orange-salmon color. I really like it. Any clues on a name?

Very pretty, it's amazing what gets thrown out. I obviously live in the wrong neighbourhood

Hard to tell from the pictures, but appears to me to be a Billbergia of some kind.

Thanks Ron! I am completely uneducated in Bromeliad taxonomy. Luckily Orchid conditions plus a little neglect work out perfectly for Bromeliads! Sometimes I water them, sometimes I don't. They grow. My horticulturist ego gets a reprieve from the ups and downs, hits and misses of growing/torturing Orchids.

Used to grow a lot of them, but no longer have room. They are almost impossible to kill, some of them, anyway.
