Easter Cactus Male
Default Easter Cactus

I grow it with my orchids. It is easy to gow this plant but like orchids, the medium should be well drained.

pheli, very pretty blooms. I really like the second shot, shows the blooms nicely! Good growing!

How nice!! I have several christmas cacti, but no easter ones. Love the shape of the blooms, they look more like cactus blooms than the christmas type does.

I also have several Christmas cacti, one of which is putting out buds now...is it confused?
I haven't seen Easter cactus before but I sure like the flowers and will look for one. Thanks for posting your pictures.

Thanks. I have several Christmas cacti as well. They bloom in winter regularly. Compared, with Easter cacti, they are commonly grown and have more color versions.

Thw Easter ones seem quite difficult to find. I sometimes see them at the garden center, but they are always sold as part of a larger flower arrangement.
