Actually I would much rather send out seeds. They grow from seeds soo easily. Or send seedlings. But not yet. I guess Im uncomfortable chopping up my plant, hahaha.

I could be interested in some seeds! Anyway the Lipstick plant i got (no tag) at the Farmers' Market is sold with other 2" pots as terrarium plants (some small Hoyas and Ficus pumila).

I have some seeds/ seedlings of Ficus crocata (syn of yucatanensis and possibly F. trigonata). It is a banyan fig from central America. very viable. Got too many seedlings! Probably would be nice as bonsai or houseplant. I am into many Ficus a lot, actually. Easy to grow from seed.

Those are beautiful! If you find yourself with a large batch of seeds, I'd love to give it a try.

yep, grown quite a few over the years.

I should also add, I recently killed my only streptocarpus after many years of ups and downs


And my terrariums (2 of them) are overrun with episcias.

Wow fishmommy, those are awesome!! Congrats on the blooms. Those Episcias, are they epiphytic?

episcias will grow epiphytically if kept in very high humidity with moist surfaces nearby.
I have had them climb the sides of the fish tanks - they spread their roots out like spiderwebs on the glass.
Some are free flowering, and others need to be pruned in order to flower.

Perfectly understandable. I have many plants that haven't grown enough for me to cut them up to trade or even give to friends. I would love trying seed next time you have some available. I have a few plants I would be happy to trade cuttings of for seeds.

I also have a Nematanthus (nervosa, I think) that is one of my favorite plants and hasn't even bloomed yet.
