The new orinapet hybrids are really nice they are a cross between oriental and trumpet types and have great scent and color....forgot what this one is but It was a walmat purchase and it seems walmart bulbs never turn out to be what is shown on the pkge ....these were actually supposed to be more peach and yellow But hey this time was still ok.The last time I bought bulbs at wal mart they were supposedly a red and yellow orinapet and turned out a muddy nasty color that I dug up and tossed in the burn pile...the year before I had bought the same variety and they turned out fantastic. Then there was the cannaa I bought there supposed to be a bright golden yellow ...turned out the tiny wild red type blooms and went to the burn pile also.I realy try to buy from Home depo anymore for bulbs if I can catch them realy ealy before they have sat inside on the shelve to long and started into growth.

Considering ordering from parks or a catalog company next time and get something taller.

Thanks for all that info. I'm definitely making plans for next year.

If you want taller, I did see one in a magazine once called "Sky-Scraper". Extra strong stem apparently. Flowers about 8" wide or so and yellow. Unsure about genetics, but it's one that sticks in your mind.
Was really tempted, but not sure where I'd put it. Grows over 6 foot I believe.
