Summer is over here too, but we still have some nice warm days to face. Last week it was cold, very windy and rainy. I even had to take some orchids in spike indoors and the colder growing Dendrobiums that need a dry rest are about to go in a small plastic (tent) greenhouse to keep them dry.

Every season has it own charms, somehow I look forward to fall, with the wind, rain against my windows and the leafs on the ground, the great smell in the woods etc.

Your garden still looks good, but I can see the signs that things are going to change!

Default Hello "Illinoise"

Hey orchidbingo, youre really close to where i grew up. Im from galesburg. I recently got back into orchids and wish i had that midwest humidity, But only for them, I cant stand it. Now i live in montana, oh so dry. enjoy the fall.
