thats my question, there are never people online in the chat.
i think it´s very useful to talk about doubts and not having to start a new thread. as there are many expeirenced members, you can ask them in real time.
I see the chatroom being used daily/nightly. I've joined in several times but type slowly and can't keep up. The OB homepage shows a Live Chat Banner and you can click to join in. The forum menu page lists who is currently in the chatroom (see bottom of menu).
The chat is mainly used from about 8 pm until around midnight or passed midnight eatern time in some cases. That's when the mahority of people here in the States are home from work or school and can finally sit down and talk orchids. With the time difference that's sometime in the early morning for the Europeans; sometimes too early.
oh its true, i have used it, and people were very nice to me, but i usually see there´s none so i dont sign in
d´oh i´d like to chat to ask about orchids (and also to improve my english haha) but there is nobody when i can chat here because of the time difference...
seems like chat has been a bit 'slower' than usual right now - or at least in the evening Pacific Time. You might log into chat even if no one is there, because someone else may see you are there and join you, then another etc. It seems sometimes that no one logs in until someone is already there
