I don't see anything wrong with it....It's a bit different, but I'm not sure who this offends. My first reaction during the game was "what the heck was that?". Kind of caught us off guard, and that's what makes it funny.
I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

An ad that would have been better is some dude lying on a nice sunny beach eating one of their bars and a wave comes in and Jaws grabs the bar and the dude just sits there as Jaws swims away happily!
