Default Pictures of Our Garden

We are gardeners here as well as orchid growers. I have had a love of nature from a very young age, and that naturally grew into a love of gardening which naturally grew into a love or orchids. Addiction to plants can get a little out of hand, as you can see.

Great garden! Quite different from the gardens here in Florida, you can grow completely different and interesting things up there...

WOW!!!!!!! Beautiful!
Pat, the draw back to the variety and explosion of flowers is allergies, and the death of winter.
Barbara, do you grow any Lobelias?

Thank you. The tree is a 6 year old Weeping European Beech (Fagus sylvatica 'Purple Fountain').

It's not the flowers you see that get my allergies going, it's the maple tree flowers, white spirea, lilacs and rag weed.
I do have Giant Blue Lobelia which seeds itself all over the damp shady areas of the garden. I will try to find a picture of it in my garden. Didn't set out to photograph it however.

Wonderful pictures of your garden Barbara - very inspiring for my own yard renos. I love the weathered look of the fence and your pathway glimpses that lead us off to places we can't quite see.

Do you have any winter pics?

I don't have any pictures of the garden in winter, however there are some pic's after the ice storm about a week ago, I guess that qualifies for winter.
