Default Attention Administration "Viral Infected Link"

Last evening I clicked on a user link that was posted on this site and my computer immediately gave me security warnings and shut down. I was completely unable to access the internet until this morning and the problem had to be resolved through Microsoft and required a complete system restore. Is there a way to report this issue to prevent it from happening to another OB member?

It was a link from Brandank "Noid Purple Vanda". Below Brandank's thread there was a link... Watch my chids grow in my yard in Fort Pierce. When I clicked on the link it went to the website and the problems began. The virus was described as a Win32.Zafi.B and it was described as a Worm Trojan program.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

June, I don't know what the problem may have been

I've been on his blog in the past with no problems. Just in case something had changed, I just updated all of my computer protection programs, crossed my fingers and clicked on the link...and had no problems at all. Just re-scanned my computer to make sure nothing slipped through and all is fine.

I think I've visited his site in the past too. His opening page with the alligator photos seemed to be new since my last visit several months ago, though. I don't know why it caused a problem with my Microsoft Firewall, but it was defined as a "high risk". I did various Norton Scans after the threat and Norton had resolved it from their side without a problem. Microsoft was the program that still had issues. Hopefully it won't happen to any other OB members. Thank you for researching.
