Ross,

It was 80 here yesterday, 76 today. I think Im enjoying this global warming. Soon enough this house will become oceanfront property!

Interesting link about the records set this hurricane season, which ends tomorrow: Maryland Weather: 2008 Atlantic hurricane season sets records - Sun reporter Frank Roylance blogs on meteorology - marylandweather.com

I'm trying not to Whine, but this is January weather in November. Global warming, thank you. And global warming is probably to fault with the Florida weather as well (help me out here Tindo - you understand these things )

As I recall, you were once a snow bird, right? Can you still remember those days out in the snow at 6AM shovelling to go to work? I realize it only takes, like 2 weeks, to forget At least I can sleep in till honey says I have to get up and shovel!

LOL...no, I was never a snow bird!

We lived in New York our entire lives until we made the move down here. My husband worked for NYC Sanitation so when it snowed, I lost him to 12 hr shifts every day for weeks, sometimes!

"That's not snow...that's money" was our mantra

That meant I was left to do the shoveling at home The last few years up there I was unable to do it and could've just kissed my neighbor when I heard his snowblower running and found he was clearing a path on my property and driveway!

Believe me, I remember it well...and don't want to ever do it again...although I was in NY this past February for their first snow of the year! NOT fun!
