Default Please Check your Car tires

I received this information from a friend and thought everyone should be aware of. Tires have a self life of around 6 years and stores are selling ones much older. which can make them very dangerous. There is a way to know how old your tires are. Heres a link to a 20/20 investigative report, it is a bit lengthy but I think necessary to know.

Ya, I saw this a long time ago and was soooo P'd off when I went outside and checked the 'NEW' tires I just bought!!
Sold as NEW to me, and 2 of 4 of the NEW tires were 4 & 6 yrs OLD!!!
BEWARE, and LOOK and READ Before you Buy!!!

But more common with certain sources. Not really a common thing as implied.

Common or not. Its good information to know! It only takes one bad tire to kill you.
