Oh what a cutie! Truthfully, as far as bonsai go, I have one and it's a typical small one that is rootbound and not growing very much over the past three years. And I'm scared to death of it! Haven't got a clue what to do but water it and I put in an organic bonsai fertilizer pellet once or twice a year. I guess orchids have my heart!

Thanks so much, but wires, pliers, and working with something so delicate makes me want to cringe. That whole thing seems like such torture. How many of these have you done? And what was your first one like? Successful or a redo?

Here's my latest edition that I picked up at the Home Depot. I went to a HD that I normally don't get a chance to go to and found this Bonsai tree on the clearance rack for $9.50. The leaves were falling off and need some TLC. After about a month it has perked up and started putting out some buds. I emailed the grower but didn't get a response. The new leafs have white marks very much like Ghost orchid roots. Any Idea what it is?
