Tacca Integrifoila/bat plant early blooms?

Is anyone else experiencing this phenomenon? My bat plant (usually blooms for Halloween/October) has 2 flowers already! I just noticed the buds this weekend and one of the flowers started opening yesterday. I can't believe it....

Is anyone having a similar experience with other tropicals or taccas? Just wondering...I am guessing the crazy weather threw the plants off?
