Default Thanks for your thoughts

We would love to be able to send some your way because I understand you could use it, and we sure don't need it. Rainfall for the year is up over 11 inches above average.

Fortunately my area did not get hit with that huge system but then again we never get hit by anything...ever. I am pretty sure Huron county (where I live) has a sheild over it, but that also means we dont get alot of rain here when everywhere else does. This year is a little different though, I think this is the first week we have had no rain since April.

We've had it all so far. Tonadoes went through just south of us (west to east direction) and violent winds and downpours. Think I heard we had over two inches. Rained again last night and rain in forcast for this next week. I'll trade you rain for sun

I'm in michigan, near Detroit and we didn't have tornadoes. But the thunder last night was something I have NEVER heard before... Woke me up out of a dead sleep, set off car alarms, it was reallly loud. other then that we are back to it being hotter then I can handle, and humid and sticky..... yuck!

Violent thunderstorms this afternoon with very heavy rains. I have 5-gallon pails out to collect rainwater - helps keep pressure off the RO unit! Thunderstorms also fix nitrogen, so we should see a flush of grass growth. Too bad we can't mow

Soulds like our weather, minus the tornadoes! I agree about the grass growing like crazy. It's been raining for the last 2 weeks here (and for at least another week says the weather lady) and the grass in our yard is up to our armpits since mowing is out of the question.(picture below) How depressing. And it's cold too. Parts of Lyon flooded last week, and dozens of other french cities as well. Did I mention the slug invasion? We have millions of fat orange slugs eating every plant (except the grass! ) in sight.Icky slimy things! Yuck!

I've praying that you don't get any more tornadoes. They are one of the scariest things in my opinion as they are completely unpredictable and unstoppable.

I'll take some of the rain off your hands...but the tornadoes can stay away, thank you very much

We got a trace of rain in May and before that the last rain we had gave us an inch or so in early April! It's like a desert down here!

Ross, glad you've made it through the storms so far. Have you lost power? We did on Thursday night and last night. We are getting it really bad right now. I'm praying that we don't lose power again. It's way too hot and sticky.
