Of note, Hirts has a bad online reputation (check garden watchdog). I can't say I've ordered from there (too scared).

You could be like me...I recently repotted a miltonia mainly to remove the overly vigorous 'freebie' of a bear's paw fern that was very happily growing within. Both patients hardly knew they were separated.

I have ordered quite often from Hirt's and gotten nice, healthy plants. Once they forgot some strawberry plants I ordered and they sent them right away after I emailed them. Maybe it is because I am in Ohio that I have had good luck...no idea.
I order from quite a few different plant vendors as I grow herbs (Companion Plants, Ohio Medicinal Medicinal Plant Medicinal Herb Herb Plants Seeds Goldenseal Herb OH ) have a tub pond ( LilyBLOOMS Aquatic Gardens - Buy Pond Plants & Water Lilies ) and like to try new stuff...like the Carnivorous plants. I will probably be ordering seeds from Jung's (Jung Seed: Vegetable Seed, Flower Seed, and Garden Supplies ) so I can have some squash, tomatoes and peppers. In the past I had fruit trees, roses, grapes and berry bushes (Stark, and Miller for the fruits and a local place for the roses).

Hi Mateoin since you live in LA, I recommend Rainforest Flora whole sale nursery in Torrance (pict related , I bought my P.Superbum there, I think it's the cheapest price I have found on a mounted stagfern.
You can technically find bifurcanum in a pot at most places, domedepot and local nursery.

I saw some P ridleyi or vetchii for sale at Brookside Orchids (pretty sure it was ridleyi) when I visited their storefront. I am not sure if they ship them or not you’ll have to call and ask. It was $50 if I remember correctly. I believe that species is hard to propagate but that spore grown ones have started trickling in from Asia (where they are much more available) Good luck on your search.
