Sounds like haggis!

Haggis! I just love haggis.
When I was about 7 years old my father was posted to a military base in Scotland and we moved there for 18 months. He convinced me that a haggis was an actual animal that lived in the mountains and came running to the sound of bagpipes! Apparently it had 2 short left legs and 2 long right legs so it could walk easily around the mountains!
Anyway, I loved the taste then and still do. I can't get fresh haggis where we are now but I order tins through Amazon and host a Burn's night every 25th January for a few close friends. It's a good excuse for sharing nips of favourite whiskies and luckily everyone lives only a short stagger away! Can't stand whisky myself but console myself with a bottle of Drambuie.

My ex husband once convinced me than Minnesota cows were built the same. I was shamefully not a child. Only one In a string of naive, embarrassing stories.
